We welcome Henrik Swerlander in his new role as CEO of the BIG-gruppen.
Henrik lives just north of Stockholm and will be based in our head office in Stockholm.
Henrik has a 20 years background from the building merchant industry and most recently he worked two years for Kesko (K-Rauta, K-Bygg and Onninen) and held the position of Commerce Director.
Before that he was working as Sourcing Director for Fresks Group (XL BYGG) and came to Kesko when they acquired Fresks Group in 2019.
During the years 2002 until 2017 he held different roles within Sourcing and Sales in Beijer Byggmaterial.
Henrik thinks it will be exciting and interesting to now become a part of the team and BIG gruppen and be involved in further developing of the group.
- I feel very motivated but also humble for my new assignment. BIG-gruppen has a strong market position today and we have a great knowledge and long experience within our group. Together, we will further develop and improve our offer to the market to become the best future partner for our customers. We will also continue building and strengthen the good relationships with have with our suppliers and partners. Our suppliers are very important for us ahead, in our ambitions to become the best and most efficient partner to our customers.
